Founded in 1927, the business has grown through four generations of the George family — expanding nationally while maintaining the values, accountability and relationships that come from being family-run.
Today, we support foodservice operations across hospitality, healthcare, corporate, mining, remote and retail environments, delivering fresh and processed produce solutions built for reliability and performance.
From local beginnings to national reach
What began as a regional produce business has grown into a national operation — but growth has never come at the expense of standards. Over decades, Simon George & Sons has expanded its footprint, invested in infrastructure and built specialist capability across multiple states. Each step of that growth has been guided by the same principles that shaped the early years: do what you say you’ll do, stand behind your supply, and build relationships that last. Our national network now spans Queensland, Victoria, South Australia and the Northern Territory — supported by modern facilities, disciplined logistics and long-standing grower partnerships.
